Well, the time has finally come. After months of getting oriented with each other, academic preparations and impatiently waiting for the admission results, you’re finally starting your journey to Australia!
While I am excited for you, I am a little bit sad knowing that you won’t be around next academic year. You won’t be here to assist me in checking and collecting students’ workbooks on a daily basis, smile when getting sermons from me, or receiving naughty and sensible educational arguments, it surely is a sundry not seeing you every day.
I wish you an easy transition. Just like the normal days spent in high school, your life in a foreign country will surely take both major and minor adjustments. You’re going to be living in a new place, a chance for you to enhance your English communication skills and adapting to a new culture we used to discuss in Culture Studies. Getting homesick is but a normal stuff, in such a time, do always remember that you have everyone back home, myself included, to cheer and barracks for you all the way.
